Thunder &Neon Group recognizes the value of engaging with the communities and we have endeavored to touch almost all the aspects of CSR in our sustainability efforts including Enviornmental protection, corporate philanthropy, community enguagement and development.
Thunder & Neon Group in collaboration with Peradeniya University – Faculty of Engineering, manufactured over 3000 of Face Shields to provide the vital protection of front-line healthcare workers who are working around the clock to keep Sri Lankans safe. Through generous donations channelled from Thunder & Neon Employees and tripled in value through a donation by Company Directors, helping hands were lent to fellow brothers and sisters who get affected with the advent of the recent flooding in many parts of the country. Thunder & Neon family actively participated to this massive flood relief…….
Under Corporate Philanthropy, Thunder & Neon donated daily utilities and stationaries to childern at Maharagama Cancer Hospital. Group Chairman guided all the employees to invove with this corporate responsibility programme by contributing to make a big difference to children and families spending time in the hospital.
Thunder & Neon Group organised its annual Poson Dansala at Boralasgamuwa head office to commarate Poson Festival. All the employees contribute their maximum effort and thoughts to make this highly venerated programme a success.
A disaster response programme was launched by Thunder & Neon Group to donate medical utilities,cloths and daily nessisitiess for the people who got affected by floods in 2016.
Under the guidance of Group Chairman, Mr. Lalith Lokuge, Thunder & Neon organised an eyesight clinic to donate spectacles among the Senior Citizens who are living in rural and urban parts of Sri Lanka. Under this programme total number of 5000 benifitiaries were benifited residing in Hambantota, Welikanda, Polgasovita, Kolonnawa and Dehiwala.
Wheel Chairs and Clutches were donated to the wounded soldiers at Army Hospital at the Panagoda Army Camp.
