Geo Blankets

Geo blankets, also known as erosion control blankets, are used in landscaping and civil engineering projects to prevent soil erosion. They are made from biodegradable materials such as coconut coir, jute, or straw and come in different sizes and thicknesses depending on the application. Geo blankets are placed over bare soil to reduce water runoff and hold soil in place until vegetation can establish. The blankets provide a protective barrier against rain and wind erosion, and they help retain moisture and provide a stable surface for plant growth. They are commonly used in construction sites, slopes, riverbanks, and wetlands restoration projects. Geo blankets are a sustainable and environmentally friendly solution to erosion control and can be easily installed and decomposed after their useful life.
